Rental Conditions.

This is a page that contains the most frequently asked questions concerning rentals with Cooper Paris Flats.

Before the FAQS section, there is a link to a MS Word 98 Document called 'Conditions.doc'.
If you click on the link it will open up the document for you and you will be able to print it out.
This document must be filled out, signed by you and sent back to us in Paris in order to reserve one of our apartments.

Thanks.

Question:
Are there additional 'hidden' costs on top of the rental rates?

Answer:
No. We believe that it is better for clients to know what to expect up front. We have therefore put pictures of all apartments and their surrounding areas on the website, and there are no hidden charges - no charge for electricity, and no charge for the phone.

Question:
How does the telephone work?

Answer:
It is set to "local." What this means is that you are free to use the phone, at no cost to you, to make local phone calls - i.e.dinner reservations, train station info, etc.. However, to make a long distance, or international call, you will need a calling card, either an ATT card, or a French telephone card that you can buy here in any of the telephone shops.

Question:
How well equipped are the apartments?

Answer:
All the appliances are modern, and include either a microwave/grill combination or a toaster oven, small refrigerator/freezer, coffee maker, electric stove top, a clothes washer/dryer and an iron. Naturally there is an assortment of pots and pans, as well as kitchen utensils.

Question:
Are linens and towels provided?

Answer:
Yes, most apartments have queen size beds with sheets and pillow cases, and a double sleeper sofa with sheets and pillow cases, as well as sufficient blankets.  All bathrooms come with ample towels for the number of people officially staying in the apartment.

Question:
Are your apartments all centrally located and near public transportation?

Answer:
Yes. All of our apartments are selected for their accessibility for people who come to town to take advantage of the city.  They are all located in central, upscale areas near tourist attractions and business centers (Luxembourg Gardens, St. Germain des Pres, Marais--Place des Vosges, Champs Elysees, Montmartre, Arc de Triomphe).  Every apartment is at most 5 minutes from Metro Stations, RER stations, and bus stops.

Question:
Are the apartments located in Noisy areas?

Answer:
The apartments are all located in the best locations available in Paris, which implies areas with a great deal of activity.  However, the apartments have all been chosen that either face courtyards, or side-streets that are virtually noise free.  The goal was to ensure visitors to COOPER PARIS FLATS' apartments, the perfect compromise between being close to everything and still being able to have a good night's sleep.

Question:
Are there restaurants and stores in the vicinity of your apartments?

Answer:
For the first question, there are good restaurants everywhere in Paris.  The locations of our apartments are no exception.  There are very good restaurants near every apartment.  When you are here, we would be happy to make some suggestions if you like.

As for shopping, all apartments have nearby supermarkets or little family run stores where you can purchase food or other household items that you may need during your stay.  When you're here, don't hesitate to ask for suggestions on where to go shopping or where to eat.
